Still figuring out how to bring my job directory to its fullest.
I was inspired by a lot of web gurus from around. It's not about millions bucks that I'm after but rather being the best at what I do. I just wanted to be a different recruiter from the rest. In my opinion, you can never be a perfect recruiter if you don't have that network to tap with.
Bug's are still present and I've been receiving an average of 10 emails a day from my regesitered users. Concerns were still the same as to the problem of log'n in to acces our features. Worst one of my admin menu has still has errors on it of which my programmer cant fix it due to his present engagements. Yes, his a freelance web geek who happens to be gifted enough to learn PHP & SQL before entering college. Tough huh? My programmer is just kid fresh from high school yet curious enough to dissect the whole thing and able to produce such a wonderful product of emagination though I conceptualized the whole project. Man, I can't stop teaching myself how to code in the office knowing that this wonder kid can do it hahahaha.. I pity myself. On one hand, I think I'm still cool because I thought myself html (Big deal? ) not really hihih..
HR professionals now a days should learn to do this though I'm not obliging them to learn such stuffs but still its worth the effort for you to learn a new skill on top of being an effective hr professional. I know I sound silly but this thing I'm doing keeps me doing things at par. Curiousity & interest is really the currency needed here if you want to learn this stuff aside from patience.
HTML? This was the first lesson I learned in front of my P4 PC using frontpage before I found out that Dreamweaver is so powerful on building dynamic websites. I bought a book to help me with HTML coding. The output? well I was able to launch www.hrcebu.com as my first project after www.ukay-ukay.net. Sad to say bought sites went down coz my ISP pull off. Still, t'was because of my persistence I proceeded with other projects.
