“Rent your Stuff” – Lost?

This is basically a classifieds ads idea wherein you've got a lot of competitors. One should remember that if you want your site to get noticed, you should have one crazy idea that fills the gap. You should have that first mover advantage or you should build your own category for you to get noticed.

In my opinion, it doesn’t matter really if you have the market coz most crazy ideas don't have any market yet. They’re just there because they saw a gap and wanted to fill that gap. Latter on, people noticed it and find it cool. Some are born out of curiosity and hobby my site is not exempted from this (www.lagahit.com).

Going back to "rent your stuff", your just basically changing it's name not its concept or idea, but if you have a good idea on how to be different from them then that’s a lot better.
